The Candidates tab is available only to FPS GOLD employees and is used to introduce new release packages to be installed. The list view on the screen displays release packages that have been compiled and may be ready to release to production. Right-clicking pops up a menu that lists actions that can be taken on the release candidates.
Buttons
•<Release> – to release selected candidates to production. You can also use the right-click menu. See below for more on releasing candidates.
•<Delete> – Click this button to delete candidates that are selected in the list view. You can also delete candidates using the right-click menu. See below for more on deleting candidates.
Release or Delete Selected Candidates
If you have appropriate security, you can release or delete candidates.
To release or delete candidates:
1.Right-click on an item in the list view.
A pop-up menu opens.
2.Select one of the menu items described below:
•Release Selected Candidates – Adds all selected release packages to the list of release packages to be released on the server and then removes the selected packages from the release candidates list.
•Delete Selected Candidates – Removes all selected release packages from the release candidates list.
