Employee name changes in CIM GOLD Security can affect Help Desk access when an employee’s name is changed. As long as the employee number is not changed, FPS GOLD can update the name and email fields in Help Desk so the user can access Help Desk with their new logon credentials. Once the name change has been made by FPS GOLD, the cache and cookies on the user’s computer browser need to be cleared.

 

Terminated Employees

 

Currently in the FPS GOLD Help Desk System, terminated employees cannot be deleted. Please contact FPS GOLD to discuss a solution that will work best for your institution.

 

Reusing Employee Numbers

 

If your institution reuses employee numbers that were previously assigned to a terminated employee, and the terminated employee had Help Desk security and created tickets in Help Desk, please contact FPS GOLD to discuss a solution that will work best for your institution.
