Before your institution can use GOLD EventLetters for the Deposit system, several features must be set up on the host computer. This section will explain the process of setting up events on CIM GOLD so GOLD EventLetters will function properly for deposit events.

 

First, you must set up security to be able to access the Deposits > Definitions > Event Setup screen.

 

Second, use the Event Setup screen to set up which event letters you want generated for your institution.

 

Last, use the features in GOLD EventLetters and Microsoft Word to create your event letter and generate accounts where the event letter will be sent.
